The Cleveland CLE-MAX™ 118° Jobber Length Drill is designed for general-purpose drilling with a high-performance HSS construction. This drill bit features a 2.40mm diameter (0.0945") and is equipped with a TiCN surface coating, offering increased hardness and wear resistance, which improves tool life and performance in challenging applications. The flute length is 1.1811" (30.00mm), and the overall length is 2.2441" (57.00mm), making it well-suited for deeper hole drilling while maintaining precision.
The 118° radial point angle ensures an optimal balance between cutting speed and precision, ideal for clean hole creation and reducing heat buildup. The right-hand spiral and cut, paired with a 32° helix angle, optimize chip removal and minimize clogging, enhancing the efficiency of the drilling process. This drill is manufactured to meet DIN 338 standards, ensuring consistency and reliability.
With a straight shank configuration, a shank size of 2.40mm (0.0945"), and a shank length of 1.0630" (27.00mm), the drill bit provides a secure fit in standard drill chucks. The CLE-MAX™ drill bit is designed for a depth of cut of up to 4 times the drill's diameter (4xD), offering versatility for various drilling applications.
