Product Description:
Interlac 665 is a high-gloss, one-pack alkyd finish coating specifically formulated for use on above-waterline surfaces in marine environments. Suitable for new construction, maintenance and repair, or onboard maintenance, this cosmetic topcoat offers long-lasting aesthetic protection when applied over recommended anticorrosive systems. It is ideal for steel substrates and should always be mixed thoroughly using a power agitator before application.

Surface Preparation & Application Notes:

Only apply over properly specified anticorrosive primers

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants

Follow SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning and/or high-pressure fresh water wash standards

Do not apply in submerged areas

For covered surfaces, ensure the temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point

Recommended application temperature: 21–27°C

Store unused material in tightly sealed containers

Provide adequate ventilation during application and drying to avoid toxic vapours

Avoid skin and eye contact—use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
