This abrasive belt is made with zirconia alumina, a self-sharpening abrasive designed for aggressive, fast cutting. The belt features a strong Y-weight polyester waterproof backing and a resin bond, providing excellent durability and grain retention for moderate- to heavy-pressure applications. Enhanced with a lubricating grinding aid, it offers a cool-cutting solution ideal for grinding exotic alloys like titanium, as well as forged and stainless steel. This belt is an excellent choice for coarse grit, heat-sensitive applications such as foundry snagging, gear grinding, honing, and surface grinding. The belt measures 24 inches in length and 1/2 inch in width, with a grit number of 40. The product is blue in color and provides excellent performance for stock removal, stripping, and more.
