This premium, P-graded, heat-treated aluminum oxide abrasive is designed for consistent surface finishes and exceptional performance on a wide variety of materials, including coatings. The fiber-reinforced, B-wt. latex-saturated backing offers improved tear strength and exceptional flexibility, allowing it to be folded without cracking. The non-pigmented, water-based stearate (anti-clog) coating, combined with the open coat, ensures superior resistance to clogging and loading during sanding. Ideal for sanding painted surfaces, composites, plastics, and any material prone to loading, this abrasive excels in roughing and intermediate sanding applications, with grit sizes ranging from 36 to 80. The PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) backing eliminates the need for manual clamping, making it a convenient and efficient choice for use with sheet sanders, file boards, or hand pads.
