3M™ Speedglas™ Outside Protection Plate is designed to help protect the filter from spark and spatter. Failure to use an outside protection plate with the filter voids the warranty if spark or spatter contaminates the glass.
3M™ Speedglas™ Outside Protection Plate is a replacement part for 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet Series 100. The series of helmets allows you to take advantage of excellent optical quality and reliable light-to-dark switching at an affordable price. These helmets offer ease of use which ensures that their quality and style are accessible to even the most occasional welders. 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet is sold separately.
