This angle grinder features a heavy-duty torque limiter that prevents damage to internal gearing and protects the operator from experiencing a surge of torque during wheel lock-up. The labyrinth construction uses a complex series of channels to prevent dust and debris from penetrating the field and armature, maximizing operational life. It includes a rear vent "dust cover assembly" for added protection against dust and debris. The motor winding protection features "zig-zag" varnish on the armature and hardened powder on the field coils, acting as an impenetrable barrier to dust and debris. The rear handle swivels 180° to adjust to the most comfortable grinding position, while the rotatable gear housing can be positioned every 90° for optimal positioning. The removable side handle can be mounted on either side of the tool for flexibility. The ergonomic soft rubber grip absorbs vibrations, ensuring comfortable operation during extended use.
