Makita's First 18Vx2 Direct (36V) 1" Rotary Hammer
This tool is Makita's first 18Vx2 Direct (36V) rotary hammer, designed for maximum efficiency and safety. It accepts two 18V Li-ion batteries without a battery converter, making it compatible with Makita’s existing 18V Li-ion battery platform. The center of gravity is located close to the rear handle, ensuring ideal tool balance during operation. The torque limiter stops rotation if the bit jams, increasing operator safety and enhancing motor protection. With 40 angle bit positions, chisels can be positioned at the optimum angle for operation. The rubber housing bumper protects the mode selector switch and gear housing from damage. The LED job light with an afterglow feature provides visibility in low-light conditions. The one-touch sliding chuck enables quick and easy bit changes, while the sliding rear handle increases vibration absorption. The ergonomic soft rubber grip design ensures vibration absorption and comfortable operation.
