This 1-inch aluminum oxide non-woven abrasive disc features a very fine grit, ideal for final surface blending on a variety of metals and surface shapes. The premium high-loft nylon fiber is bonded to a strong nylon scrim backing, providing a thick layer of resin bond and abrasive grain for extended durability and stiffness. The patented Vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain delivers consistent cutting and finishing performance, combining the cutting power of a coarser grit with the fine finish of a finer grit. Proprietary Clean Bond resin technology guarantees smear-free finishes, even on high-nickel content alloys, while reducing loading on aluminum and other soft metals. With a Ty TR/III fit roll-on/roll-off plastic attachment system, this disc is ideal for applications requiring heavy to medium stock removal and is best used with cloth quick-change discs for efficient performance. Designed for high-speed operations, it can handle up to 40,000 RPM.
