Product information

This extra coarse grit abrasive disc features Blaze ceramic alumina, ideal for removing coatings on various substrates such as wood, metal, and plastics. The open web construction ensures minimal loading, while the Blaze ceramic alumina provides 2X the cut rate and 2X the life compared to silicon carbide products. This disc offers a unique combination of aggressive performance, long life, and an improved finish, with the added benefit of being non-rusting and not contaminating the workpiece. The non-woven web is attached to a fiberglass backing plate, compatible with Rapid Strip/Rapid Blend depressed center wheels for easy direct mounting. It operates at a maximum RPM of 12,000, has a 4-1/2-inch diameter, and a 7/8-inch arbor size, making it an excellent choice for tough, high-performance tasks.
