The Norton BlueFire Zirconia Alumina Grinding Wheel is a highly versatile and efficient product designed for grinding and cutting a variety of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, alloys, and gray iron. This wheel provides superior performance-to-price ratio, offering 2-3 times the life of standard aluminum oxide wheels and up to a 20% increase in performance and longevity. Its blend of advanced chemistry and zirconia alumina abrasive with premium aluminum oxide grain ensures outstanding durability. This wheel is ideal for a broad range of applications, from light to heavy pressure, including metal fabrication, petrochemical maintenance, all-weld grinding, shipbuilding, foundry work, pipeline repair, and masonry/concrete fabrication. With a 9" diameter, 1/8" thickness, and a 7/8" arbor size, it operates at a maximum speed of 6,600 RPM and is classified as a Type 27 wheel.
