The Norton R228 series quick-change standard disc is designed for heavy-duty abrasive tasks, featuring an extra coarse grit (P40) for aggressive stock removal. Made from high-quality aluminum oxide, it is suitable for use on a variety of materials including metal and composites. The disc features a durable 2-ply cotton backing with X-weight for added strength and flexibility. Designed with a Type TS (Type II) attachment, it allows for easy and fast mounting on compatible tools. With a maximum operating speed of 30,000 RPM, this disc is ideal for quick, efficient sanding and grinding. Manufactured by Saint-Gobain in the US, this disc provides exceptional performance in demanding applications.
