This 5-inch Type 27 flap disc features alternating zirconia alumina (blue) and aluminum oxide (black) flaps, providing higher performance than standard aluminum oxide discs while maintaining an economical price. Designed to be used at a 0 to 15-degree angle on flat surfaces, it is ideal for blending and smooth finishing. The fiberglass/resin backing plate offers high strength, lightweight construction, and vibration absorption. With a polyester/cotton backing combination, it provides a good cut rate and finish. The 60 grit is perfect for blending and deburring tasks, and the high-density jumbo flaps make this disc an excellent choice for working on uneven or curved surfaces, as well as for finer-grit blending. With a maximum RPM of 12,000, this disc ensures efficient and consistent performance.
