Featuring a 9-inch diameter, 2-inch thickness, and a 4-15/16-inch center hole, this wheel uses a vitrified bond for enhanced strength and durability. Its monocrystalline aluminum oxide abrasive provides a sharp, durable cutting edge, making it ideal for grinding carbide cutting tools, titanium, metal matrix composites, and plasma sprayed materials. The wheel operates at a maximum speed of 2550 rpm and is classified as a Type 35, medium-grade wheel with a 70 grit. The purple wheel is designed for applications requiring moderate to heavy feed and stock removal rates, delivering consistent performance and long-lasting results in industrial and toolroom settings.
