This 3-inch non-woven aluminum oxide disc is designed for light removal of coatings, oxidation, or rust, without damaging the base material. Its tough yet conformable high-strength construction resists tearing, even on sharp edges and burrs, while providing smear-free finishes. The aluminum oxide grain ensures a balance of fast cutting action and a smooth finish. With a very fine grit, the disc delivers long-lasting, consistent performance, making it ideal for achieving a uniform finish. The Ty TR/III roll-on/roll-off plastic attachment system allows for quick and easy changes, and the disc is capable of reaching a maximum RPM of 20,000.
