Heavyweight safety hoodies provide exceptional comfort and robust protection against cold weather and flash fire or arc flash hazards. Made from 100% FR-treated preshrunk cotton (12 oz), these hoodies meet CGSB 155.20-2017 and NFPA 2112-2018 standards, certified to UL. With a Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) of 12.6 cal/cm² and an ATPV of 22 cal/cm² (ARC 2), they offer high arc flash protection. Features include StarTech® FR reflective tape, inherently FR thread, a FR brass non-locking zipper, double-stitched seams, two front slash pockets, liberal sizing, and a detachable snap hood. They also comply with CSA Z96-22 Class 1 Level 2, ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class 1 Type O, ASTM F1506-20A, NFPA 70E-2021, and CSA Z462-2021.
