It has a dual-action which consists in dissolving the paint system on contact penetrates into the paint system and delaminates it from underneath for complete paint removal. If the paint stripper is to be left for an extended period of time exceeding 6 hours, cover it to slow the evaporation process and extend the product dwell time.Lead-based paint:If used on lead-based paint, it is crucial to take the necessary precautions in order to avoid creating lead dust or hazardous residues. These residues represent a health hazard since their small size facilitates their accidental ingestion or inhalation. Residues should be swept away with a damp stroll or HEPA vacuum. It is also recommended to fully equip when removing lead.This pain stripper contains benzyl alcohol, an irritant product to the eyes and skin. One should always wear a full facepiece or a half facepiece with goggles, organic vapours cartridges, nitrile gloves and the appropriate protective clothing. One should always work in a well-ventilated area. Remove the paint with a trowel or a nylon brush, and seal the residues in a receptacle.
