Description:
This 1/2" screw pin shackle is engineered for strength, precision, and durability. Made from heat-treated carbon steel, the bows are quenched and tempered, while the alloy pins feature a metallic coating that enables tighter thread tolerances compared to painted alternatives. With a design factor of 6:1 and a rated capacity of 4,000 lbs. (2 tons), it meets the performance standards of U.S. Fed. Spec. RR-C-271D and ASME B30.26 (Type 4A, Class 2, Grade A). The hot dip galvanized bow provides corrosion resistance for extended service life, and the product packaging is environmentally conscious—either recyclable, biodegradable, reduced in material use, or made with recycled content.
